Comments: Very insistent- high pressure, dishonest-sneaky, bully-type and wouldn't take no for an answer. If I didn't like the vehicle so much and need one NOW, I would have definitely gone somewhere else. It was all their terms and no negotiating. I made an appointment to test drive is ALL, shocked by their bullying and persistence I was suckered in to signing before I had even seen the car or knew that I wanted it!! (they repeatedly told me that signing did not commit me to anything, LIES!!) I will spread the word, guaranteed!

Comments: I learned a lot from your site and read every chapter several times before making my purchase. I shopped in a month with a great dealer incentive and on a Wednesday on the last day of the month. When I used your techniques I got several offers and I just took the lowest one ($2500 below invoice!) and didn't let them get me with any extras and came in with my own financing. I'm sure the finance guy is not happy with me, but oh well!

Comments: I went in armed with "the folder" in which I had my Buyer's Offer spreadsheet (and for two competing models as well), competing quotes from nearby dealers, lists of nearby on-the-lot vehicles, credit report, and proof of insurance. I got the price I wanted, which was computed with the Buyer's Offer spreadsheet and only 2% profit. There was some haggling, and I almost made the mistake of mixing discussions of price with discussions of finance, but in the end they gave it to me for my original price and 0.0% financing. A very good deal.
