Comments: I was a first time buyer and this site was incredible in preparing me to deal with a salesman! He tried to play the shell game by pointing out the monthly payments, but I kept discussing the final price. Otherwise the salesman was pretty reasonable once I made it clear I was ready to leave. I made my offer, stuck to it, and 2 "talks with the manager" later and it was done. I'm telling everyone I know who is looking to buy a car about your site this knowledge is invaluable! Thanks Jeff! Ps. I had my own financing in advance and it was accepted without hassle. It wasn't in the drop down menu but might be another option to add.

Comments: Danette, the saleswoman, and David, the manager, were two of the most disrespectful, dishonest, disreputable, double-dealing, sneaky, greedy and disingenuous salespeople we have ever dealt with, no exaggeration. They did so many underhanded things I don't even know where to begin so I won't even try. With no semblance of professionalism, they instead utilized underhanded schemes because they do not care about their customers: they only care about how much they can get away with in order to line their pockets. Thankfully, we didn't buy the car from this snakepit whose company motto should be "Here at Shaker Motors, we believe that 'Duplicity Is the Best Policy!'" This was by far the worst car-buying experience of our lives, and we've bought many cars over the years. If you do choose to buy a car there, we strongly suggest you have it THOROUGHLY inspected by an independent mechanic, if they'll even let that happen. They want your cash and signature and for you to drive away in your As- Is car ASAP before you figure out what's wrong with it.

Comments: Went in with a pre approved check and was lead to believe until the last minute that we were using that check to buy the van. Only when we were in front of the "finance manager" did we find out it was not the case. We were told that the check wasn't going to cover all the expenses. Originally had no money down but a very good trade. Then we needed $500 until we actually went to sign the papers. It then jumped to $750. We only went through with it because the newer van only had 7800 miles and was only 2 years old. We were told we could refinance in a year or 2. We have a very high interest rate and a crappy bank. I wish I had seen this site before!!! has affiliate relationships with multiple web sites.
